Old Forge, NY – Do yourself a favor and take the 4.5 hour drive to this Adirondacks village. Quaint Main Street with unique shops and restaurants. Snow mobiling and skiing in the winter and water activities in the summer. Shout out to Five Corners Cafe for serving up the best Filet Mignon this side of the Hudson.
Newport, RI – Straight up, this place is freakin’ gorgeous. Pack your sun hat and your walking shoes and enjoy everything Newport has to offer. Fresh ocean air, mansions, and bars/restaurants galore. The best part is that it’s only 2 hours away, but feels like a full beach town vacay. Plenty of fun to be had on the drive back at the Providence Place Mall.
