Our bar cart has officially been re-styled for the holidays! It was hard to say goodbye to our Halloween bar decor, but I’ve officially traded in the orange and black motif for red and gold. The bar cart is a focal point in our living room, so having it all decked out for Christmas really gives the room a boast and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside…I swear that’s not just because of the whiskey.
I decided to split the top of the cart by offering whisky on the left and setting up a wine/champagne station on the right. It’s truly the best of both worlds! I brought in some metallics in the trees in the back and brightened it up with the festive blue holiday champagne bottle. Christmas tree wine glasses, hand-painted port glasses, and red and white striped straws round out the holiday vibes.
The wine rack beneath is filled with wine as well as various flavors of vodka to fill up the space and allow for more options. The bottom of the cart has a live poinsettia to liven up the space and a retro ice bucket I found while out thrifting last month. The ice bucket is black, white, and gold, so it fits into the theme well and is also practical. I added the two mini nutcrackers as little ice guardians too.
